Discuss Superstars in 2009.

Just watched Jericho/Morrison from Superstars 05/07/09 and it was a nice little match. JBL said it for Matt Hardy and I am now saying it for John Morrison, "He is a main event waiting to happen." This superstar has to talent to get to that level and he is getting the build in the ring he needs wrestling a huge heel superstar in Chris Jericho. Morrison is currently feuding with Shelton which can only be good for the both of them because it means for TV time for two talented athletes.

Morrison really needs more mic time to help get his character over more with the fans now that he is a babyface. If he can feud with Jericho in the future that would give him a huge, instant boost to his face credibility. Heck, this match here where Morrison got plenty of offense with his flashy moves with impressive. The kids got it I tell you. I see it in him. Miz may have the better mic skills and his character is more developed right now but Morrison can get it done in the ring and I see big things in the future for him.

First Episode

Taker/Hardy was a good match, Hardy was doing a good job of targeting the neck and head of 'Taker, and 'Taker was is usual awesome self. Sure, I would have liked a real finish to the match, but the count out gave 'Taker the win without actually beating Matt, which keeps Matt strong going into Backlash.

Christian/Finaly was also a good match, though didn't get nearly enough time IMO. Christian winning was great, as now we get Swagger/Christian III on PPV .

Shane/Cody bored the hell out of me for the most part (to be expecting with "Mr Generic" Cody Rhodes though lol). Not much else to say, other than Shane nearly botched up his coast to coast
