Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman vs. Lance Storm, Elix Skipper (Thunder, 01/10/01)
This was actually pretty great. Got a nice amount of time, decent action, some nice cut-offs, all that good stuff. Mysterio and Kidman are naturally a good team, but I don't know how much I like them in the Filthy Animals. It comes across as more of a heel gimmick yet they wrestle as babyfaces. Storm and Skipper get a good amount of heat from the crowd but it's more because they're Canadian than anything. There's one awesome moment where Rey goes to hit the Bronco Buster but Storm kicks him right in the dong and horses him right into the air. I'd recommend watching this without the commentary because Jim Duggan gets way to annoying talking about a penalty box the entire time. Stevie Ray is ok, but Duggan makes me want to slit my wrists. Really good match though, definitely worth a re-watch down the line.
